Lent 2009 "Living Prayer" In 2009 we are offering a variety ways to enrich your spiritual life during Lent. They are linked by the common theme of prayer. 'A Lenten approach to the Annunciation' Quiet Day at St Mark's, Woodmancote led by Rev'd Skye Denno and Rev'd Christine Birkett Wednesday 25th March from 10 am to 3 pm. Further details on table at back of church.
First Fridays at The Puffins Susan and John Terry have joined the Quiet Garden Scheme and will be opening their garden at The Puffins, Halmore on the first Friday of each month from April until October to give an opportunity for anyone to come and have a Quiet Day – away from the normal pressures and activity of daily life. Lent Lunches - Wednesdays until April 1st Join us between 12.30pm to 1.30pm at St. Mary's, for a lunch of delicious soups and wholesome bread. There is no charge but donations made will be given to a Gloucestershire charity.
