Michelle Garland, Director of Gloucester Youth for Christ will be speaking at the United Berkeley Service. Union Church, 6.00pm.

Palm Sunday - Donkey Parade

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. If you would like to follow the donkey through Berkeley to church, meet outside the Mariners Arms at 10.45am

Mission Giving for 2009

The following charities have been chosen for our Mission Giving for this year:
Emmaus; Gloucester City Mission; Water Aid; Mission Aviation Fellowship; The Bible Society and Tearfund. The PCC also agreed to send a donation now to the Archbishop of Canterbury and York's Lent appeal for Zimbabwe. A small piece about each of the charities chosen will be written in the Herald over the coming months. If you would like a particular charity to be nominated for next year please pass your suggestion to David or Jenny Frith.

Blue Envelopes

For those that give regularly through the blue envelope scheme, please note that the new packs of envelopes for April 2009-10 can now be found on the table at the back of church. Experience Easter

On the mornings of 30th and 31st March, Key Stage 2 children from Berkeley Primary School will be coming to St Mary's Church to hear the Easter story re-told through six interactive displays taking them through the events of Holy Week. Please pray for the children visiting and the team leading this.

Berkeley Treasure Hunt


A walking Treasure Hunt for all the family within the 4 main streets. Starting from the Vicarage from 3pm Saturday on 2nd May,
to be followed by a BBQ.

Last Lent Lunch - Wednesday April 1st

Join us between 12.30pm to 1.30pm at St. Mary's, for a lunch of delicious soups and wholesome bread. There is no charge but donations made will be given to a Gloucestershire charity.

Hill Cream Teas
You will be pleased to learn that Cream Teasare being served on the First Sunday of the Month starting Sunday 5th April 2.30—5.30 at Hill Village Hall

St Mary's Coffee Mornings

The next Coffee Morning will be held on Tuesday 21st April at the home of Sue and John Stump – The Old Swan, 20 High Street, Berkeley. Do put the next date in your diary. If you would like to host a Coffee Morning later in the year, please speak to a member of the Pastoral Care Team.
