The Herald

Tuesday 21st July is this month's Editor's deadline.

A Church Near You

Want to while away some time?

The diocesan insert in the 'The Herald' this month mentions the internet site 'A Church Near You' (www.achurchnearyou.com). Have you had a look at this site?

If you look for Berkeley, when you get there click on 'Find Us' and finally click on 'Show entire parish' you will see an outline of the parish. Along the eastern boundary there are several detached parts - find the adjoining parishes to sort things out. But what about the missing field on the Matford plain near the point-to-point course? Also you will find that Lorridge Farm, between Berkeley Heath and Berkeley Road is not in the parish of a nearby church. These last two belong to the same parish.
